For an unbeatable view of the city, take the historic Wellington Cable Car up to the Botanic Garden, where you can wander through vibrant flowerbeds and lush native bush. A short trip from the city center, Zealandia, an urban eco-sanctuary, provides a unique opportunity to see native wildlife in a protected environment, making it a must-see for nature lovers.

For those interested in politics and architecture, a tour of the iconic Beehive and Parliament buildings offers a glimpse into the inner workings of New Zealand's government. Afterward, explore the city's thriving arts scene, with galleries, theaters, and live music venues scattered throughout the city. Wellington is also famous for its craft beer and food scene, with plenty of bars and restaurants offering local flavors.
